Functional Neurological Disorders (FND) describes neurological symptoms like limb weakness, tremor, numbness or blackouts, related to the movement and sensation parts of the nervous system.

Unlike a stroke or brain injury, Functional Disorders are a “software” issue of the brain rather than a “hardware” issue affecting the nerves and tissues.
